Memorial Day Week Comments:

Hope everyone is having a great Memorial Day Celebration.

Thanks go out to all the individuals and families that have dedicated themselves to our armed forces.  As we know,  the sacrifice of being a soldier does not stop with the one who is serving.  That person's family and extended family also pay a great price for the preservation of our freedom and liberty.   We pray for the safe and speedy return of all in our fellowship who are currently deployed.  Please use this blog site to help us be more aware of how we can pray for you, and any other way we can assist you or your family while you are away.

It is always a thrill and a joy to meet and get to know new people when they move into our area whether they are connected to the military or move into our community for a number of other reasons.  But....as the old saying goes, easy come...easy go.  The going part in not so easy for any of us, but it seems it is part of the package in living in a place where coming and going are every day events.

Later in the month of June, Abe, Hillary and family will be moving to accomodate Abe's new career position.  While we hate to see them go, we are excited for the new challanges and opportunities that the move will offer them.  We hope you will stay connected to us thru e-mail, phone calls, our Sunday School blog site, and even an occasional visit when you can.  We wish you the best, and thank God for the opportunity to get to know you all.

We would also like to wish Tiffany Demo and her family well in their new location.  We invite you to join us on this blog site whenever you can.  As we get more used to accessing the site and navigating around it, our hope it that it will create a community of faith that is not bound by where we are all located, but gives us a place to both stay in touch, and to touch each other spiritually through posts and conversations that will build us all up in our faith.

We eagerly anticipate with Margot and the girls the return of Daniel Lichliter.  We look forward to seeing them reunited.  Daniel, I see that you have joined our blog site, and we all are very anxious to meet you when you return.  We understand that there will be lot's of things for you to do with your family to catch up and we don't want to interfere, but would be very eager to help in your transition back to "normal" life in any way that we can.  Our prayer for now is for your safe travel back to the US and that the anticpation of your arrival will sustain you and your family in the time that remains before you arrive.

Jacob Mannon is doing well, and is expected to return later this week after some follow up exams.  Please continue to pray for Kieth, Jayna and the boys for a safe trip back home.

I'm going to stop for now, because I don't want to get too long winded and run everyone off.  There are more things that would be benficial to talk about, but I'll save that for another time.   We had a great time in our Adult 1 department last week, let's not keep it all to ourselves, but be aware of those we know that would benefit from meeting and growing in their faith with us.

Davey
